SUNDAY ONLINE LIVE SERVICE 10:30 am via YouTube @thewellchurchuk
Your first visit: questions answered
Where and when do you meet?
Every Sunday at 10:30am at The Well Church, 1a Ansdell Road North, Lytham St Annes, FY8 4EZ. We finish around 12:15 with coffee and conversation.
What is a Sunday like?
We begin at 10:30 with contemporary, uplifting worship led by our band, until about 11:10. After the notices, the children go to their groups, and then there’s an uplifting, Bible-based talk. There’s also the opportunity to receive prayer for any need.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. There’s no dress code.
I’m new. What happens when I arrive?
Our welcome team will look after you and give you a welcome pack. The whole church is friendly, and you’ll soon feel settled.
Where can I park?
There’s a good-sized car park behind the church, and easy street parking outside.
Is the building accessible?
Yes. There’s a ramp from the car park into the back of the church, a disabled toilet and a hearing loop. Both the back door and the main front door are in use, so come in whichever end suits you.
What about my children?
After the notices, children’s workers and parents take the children to their groups, which meet in a different room in the same building. All our children’s work follows our safeguarding policy, and our team is trained and up to date. Infants can also use our crèche, with the service audio playing.
Can I watch online first?
Yes. We stream live on YouTube at @thewellchurchuk, starting at 10:30. A shorter, talk-only version goes up during the week.
What do you believe?
We’re an evangelical, charismatic church with Baptist roots. We hold the Bible as God’s Word and our final authority, and we seek to be a church of both Word and Spirit, passionate about Jesus and about people. [Learn more on our About page.]
Is anything on during the week?
Yes. The Well Café, the Well Community Centre and the Lighthouse Fellowship (1st and 3rd Wednesdays, at the church) are open to anyone. Our Alpha course runs twice a year; email alpha@iwell.org.uk for details.
Who can I contact before I visit?
Pastor Rick and Julie Oldland would love to hear from you: rick@iwell.org.uk. You can also call the church office on 01253 739043.
